IVCA Perfect Pitch Awards

The IVCA, the professional body for communicators, has launched a new award for interactive television. The Perfect Pitch Awards are designed to promote creativity, innovation and excellence in interactive television.

The Awards provide an opportunity for producers who have ideas for interactive TV programmes, to have their ideas assessed by a panel of experienced UK based interactive TV commissioners from the BBC, Channel 4, Discovery Europe, Nickelodeon, Open TV, Telewest and Two Way TV, with the possibility of successful ideas being taken forward for further discussion by the commissioners. Ideas should be submitted for interactive/enhanced television programmes for brand-building, infotainment and public information issues or corporate communications.

The awards will be presented at The Perfect Pitch - Meet the Commissioners Seminar held in London during February 2004. At the presentation, senior commissioners from the UK's leading television companies will explain the opportunities available within interactive television and provide guidelines on how to achieve commercial success.

Entering the project will provide the ideal opportunity to gain invaluable insight into commissioners' needs and meet with them in an informal networking environment.

IVCA Biz-Net Awards - awards presentation

4th December 2003
The Lewis Media Centre, Millbank, London

Winners of the IVCA Biz-Nets will be presented their awards at a gala event held at The Lewis Media Centre in central London, on the morning of 4th December. Winners will be presented as case studies, with unique feedback from the judges. The presentation will be followed by a networking luncheon, and both events will be attended by clients, chief executives and senior government figures.
